ValuTime ("the extension") is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains how it handles your information — in short, it doesn't collect any.

Data we collect

None. ValuTime does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, logins, analytics, or trackers.

Local storage

All of your data is stored only on your own device using Chrome's local storage, and it never leaves your browser. This includes:

• Saved cities and time zones
• Selected currencies, base currency, and fee-provider rates
• To-do tasks
• Pomodoro timer settings and your blocked-site list
• Theme, layout, and accessibility preferences
• Cached exchange rates

Uninstalling the extension removes this data from your device.

Network requests

ValuTime fetches current exchange rates from a public API (open.er-api.com). These requests contain no personal data and are used only to display up-to-date currency conversions.

Permissions

The permissions ValuTime requests are used solely to provide its features — saving your settings, running the focus timer, showing session notifications, and blocking distracting sites during focus sessions. They are never used to track you or read your browsing history.

Third parties

ValuTime uses no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking of any kind.

Currency & fee estimates

Exchange rates and transfer-provider fees shown in ValuTime are estimates for planning purposes only. Always confirm final amounts with your payment provider before sending or invoicing.

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
